Back track to Friday in my memory bank, up Lake Entrances way i headed for a wedding road trip. A reunion with 3 boarding school partners in crime. It had been four years since i’ve seen them, but nothing has changed. Despite we arrived town with one muesli bar to share between the four of us, in hunt for a vending machine at some local pubs, we failed as it was 9 p.m only. However, we managed to found the pre-wedding party walking into two best men, while we attempted to call our mang Todd’s phone until it probably blew up.
At our second day, being the only the token asian at the wedding along with 139 guests. I enjoyed these true blue convos that one day i will teach my kids to speak it proud, when i sent them to Paris for schooling.
Anyway, we lost our boy Oscar towards the end of the wedding, about 10km away from the hotel we found him. He was just napping in the bush, “That’s fine.” as he told me with a bear hug. i think that was the only thing he said the whole trip.
Congratulation Brooke & Todd, i took your dad’s word for granted, thousand dollar phone bills, is a good sign for a long lasting relationship.
Hey All! Exciting month ahead so stay tuned!
